Marine Paintworks, the yacht painting and finishing company run by David Jones, have been working as yacht paint repair and finishers for over 16 years. Based in Antibes we operate from Italy to Spain and world wide upon request.

David started working in the auto industry in 1978, spraying cars, then moving into the industrial sector in 1987 working for Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, and Woodside Petroleum as a Corrosion Control Specialist, both on and off shore. He has over 40 years experience in the painting industry, has completed both FROSIO and Nace paint inspection courses and has a vast knowledge of coatings and application techniques, including roll and tip.

 

In our quest for perfection in every aspect of our work, we use the latest technological developments helping us to improve on the very high standard of workmanship our clients demand.

Our methods have been perfected over time; using glassleaf, rust stabilising substrate primers and a base and clear top coat system, we achieve a much better depth of colour, higher gloss levels and uv protection, thus giving longevity to the finished product.
